Ragi Ragi dosa / Kelvaragu dosai / Finger Millet dosai
A Tamilnadu style ragi dosai, a healthy grain dosa commonly made at Villages.

Ingredients :
Ragi Flour 2 cups
Rice Flour 1 cup
Small Onion 4 or
Big Onion 1/2
Green Chili 2 no
Asefoetida 1/8 spoon
Salt to taste
Water 1 cup
Butter Milk or Curd 1/4 cup
Directions:
  1. Step 1

    Grind Onion, Green Chili into fine Paste. Mix this with the other ingredients in a vessel by adding little water. Mix well to a dosa consistency.

  2. Step 2

    Pour this in dosa pan. Turn both the sides and serve hot.

Tips :
  • Don’t add the water all at a time, it would make lumps.

(*) Onion Chutney is a nice combo for this.

    I tried it. Its very nice. Cups – which size? i have added 3 chillies. Even though it became very hot. May be confusion in the cups i think. i have used small cups and i got 6 dosas(size – same as in the above picture).

      I have mentioned the measurement cup which i have in “My Kitchen” Section Priya.
      The 1 cup size i used is 237ml. Use green chillies according to ur taste , I like it little spicy. :)
