Ladies Finger Fry / Vendaikkai Fry

I like ladies finger fry with Curd rice. This recipe is quick and easy to make. The sliminess will not be felt with this method of preparation.

Ingredients :
Ladies Finger/ Okra 1 lb
Oil 3 tbsp
Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
Sambar Powder 1 tsp
Salt
Directions:
  1. Step 1

    Chop the ladies finger in to very small pieces and allow it to stay open for 1 hr.

  2. Step 2

    In a pan heat oil. When hot add chopped ladies finger and salt. Fry for 10 min. Add Red Chili Powder, Sambar Powder and fry till it becomes crispy.

Tips :
  • Ladies finger can be fried in a seperate pan with 1tsp of Oil to remove the stickyness and can follow the above procedure.
