
Rava Kesari is a famous sweet and can be served as Hot or Cold. Mostly these sweet would be present in any small functions at our houses. It’s very easy to prepare and yet tastes good. Adding milk enhances the richness of it. Since milk is added it comes in yellowish color. If you are so particular about the color add more Orange food color.

| Rava | 1 cup |
| Sugar | 1 cup |
| Milk | 1 1/2 cup |
| Water | 1 1/2 cup |
| Cardamom Powder | 1 tsp |
| Cashew nuts and Raisins | as per taste |
| Ghee | 3 tbsp |
| Orange Food Color | 1 tsp |

Step 1
In a pan heat 1 tsp of ghee and fry Cashew nuts and Raisins till it’s golden brown. Don’t fry them dark as the raisin would taste bad.

Step 2
In the same pan fry the rava till it’s light golden brown color and keep it aside. Add Milk, Water and Sugar into the pan and mix well.Also add Cardamom Powder and food color. Allow it to boil. When boiling add the rava little by little and stir well. Make sure no lumps are formed.

Step 3
Add the remaining ghee as well. Stir continuously till it becomes little thick.Add Cashew nuts and Raisins.
