Mint has a strong flavor. For any biryani’s, pulao’s mint adds extra ordinary aroma. Mint chutney goes fabulous with Idili and dosa. At my home we grow up mint in a pot to pick it fresh when needed. Even now I have mint planted in a pot in my balcony. This is a simple mint pulao with peas and potato.

I like potatoes cooked in any form. This is one of my favorite recipe for sambar and curd rice. Any green peas ( sweet, frozen or hard ) can be used for this or even they can be skipped. Still it tastes good.

Vegetable biriyani prepared in dum method. Well, this turned out little messy as I over cooked the rice. When preparing rice for dum method, it shouldn’t be cooked more than half done.

Soya chunks has real good health benefits. I had this many times in the veg biryani’s they serve in functions. I was searching for some gravy with this for chapathi and we liked it a lot.

A simple and tasty Chicken Fried Rice which tastes alike restaurant Chinese Fried Rice !!! But I skipped the Ajinomoto. If you like it you can add that. Any vegetables and meat of your choice can be added.

A perfect evening time snack, well some people have it for breakfast or dinner also. This is very easy to prepare, not of much ingredients and yet nothing can beat it’s taste. This one required Pav Bhaji masala which is available in any Indian stores, without that you cannot get the restaurant taste.
