Milkshakes are a popular refreshing drink in India, especially on warm afternoons. Whenever we went out shopping, stopping for a fresh juice or milkshake was always a welcome break.
Indian-style milkshakes are often made simply with fruit and chilled milk, while some versions include a little ice cream for extra richness. This Banana Milkshake is a quick and easy version made with ripe bananas, cold milk, and a few ice cubes.
It is also a great way to use bananas that have become too ripe to enjoy on their own. Instead of letting them go to waste, blend them into a creamy and refreshing banana milkshake.

Tips
Ripe Bananas: Very ripe bananas work especially well because they are naturally sweeter and blend into a smooth, creamy milkshake.
Sugar: Adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of the bananas. Very ripe bananas may require less.
Serve Fresh: Banana milkshake tastes best soon after blending, as the flavor and color can change if it sits for too long.
Richer Variation: For a thicker, more indulgent milkshake, a small scoop of vanilla ice cream can be blended in if desired.
Serving Suggestion
Serve Banana Milkshake immediately as a refreshing breakfast drink, snack, or afternoon beverage.
