Peal the bottle gourd skin and chop them in to small pieces.
Use the items in the section "To Cook separately", In a vessel heat the oil, add salt - ½ tsp and the chopped bottle gourd and fry for a minute.
Add water - ¼ cup and cook the bottle gourd. Add less water so that they don't need to be drained when they are cooked.
COOKING:
In a nonstick pan, heat oil, mustard, urad dhal and wait till mustard splutter. Add chopped onion, Curry leaves and fry till onion is translucent. Add Red chili powder and fry for a minute.
Add the cooked bottle gourd and fry for 2 minutes. Add milk, ghee, required salt and allow it to boil, wait till the oil separates and the milk is completely evaporated.
