Help – Adding Recipes

Please read the following steps carefully to add a recipe to the website. If you have any doubts, please leave a comment or Contact.

  1. Step 1

    Go to the link “ Friends Corner or Share Recipes ” in the top Menu. Click on the link ” Add Recipe “. or click http://www.sashirecipes.com/add-recipes . Add the required fields and recipe details in there. Click on ” Submit Recipe”.

    • If you want to add a divider while adding ingredients for a separate heading, click on “Add Divider”. Write the procedure in Instructions.
    • Add ingredients as 1 cup – tomato
    • If procedure instruction needs to be bulleted like the one displayed. Add as below in the text box by replacing with appropriate content.
    1. Step 1

    <ol><li><div>Step <span>1</span></div> Content </li>-> Modify the number 1 for each instruction you want to give.

    For eg.
    Ingredients :
    1 tsp – oil
    1/4 tsp – mustard
    Instructions :
    <ol>
    <li><div>Step <span>1</span></div>
    Peel the skin and Chop the Potato. Seperate the florets of the cauliflower.
    </li>
    <li><div>Step <span>2</span></div>
    In a wok heat Oil, when hot, add onion and saute well till it turns golden brown.
    </li>
    </ol>

  2. Step 2

    After successfully submitting the recipe, Add Image to the recipe by clicking the link to ” Add Image ” in the submission page or Click http://www.sashirecipes.com/add-recipes/add-images . Add the recipe name and upload the image.  Please follow the image upload instructions carefully.

  3. Step 3

    The Site admin will be auto- notified with the new recipe you added, will check for the format and publish it. Check back for recipes, displayed under the link ” Friends Corner or Shared Recipes” in the top Menu.
